Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser
After graduating with a dual honours degree in Law and Business, Dawn moved back to the West Country to take up a training contract with one of the Big 4 accountancy firms where she qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor. She is also a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
She joined an Exeter firm of accountants in 2016 as Head of Tax and was responsible for a portfolio of high net worth individuals and trusts. Dawn has a strong interest in the Leisure and Tourism sector having successfully run her own holiday property business in North Cornwall for many years. With over 20 years’ experience in the tax profession, she is able to offer 'real world’ advice to fellow holiday property owners on both the tax rules and the practicalities of running a property business.
Dawn is an affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) enabling her to advise on Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Will planning.
During her spare time, Dawn likes to spend time outdoors with her young family, either by the coast or enjoying the beautiful West Country scenery.
